Congratulations! You’ve now completed the basics for setting up your Kong store - eCommerce greatness awaits you!

  

Here are some next steps to consider in making your store truly unique:

Kong automatically generates useful pages for you including Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, Contact Us, and About Us. There is some content in these pages to get you started, but writing some detailed custom text will tell customers a lot more about you so it’s a great way of building trust. Don’t forget to fill in the SEO & META Data sections - this goes a long way towards helping your site’s performance in search engines, meaning even more potential customers can see your store!

You can find these pages under Menu > Customise > Store Pages.

Add your Social Network accounts to build a relationship with your customers. For example, having an Instagram feed full of the latest products coming in may help generate buzz about your store. It’s as easy as copy and pasting in your profile URL for each network (e.g. https://twitter.com/trykong), and you can add as many as you like. Once added to this page and saved links to your Social Network(s) will be added to your store’s footer.

To get to the Social Profiles page go to Menu > Settings >  Social.

Customise your 404 (Page not found) page. A 404 is the page that gets shown when an invalid URL is entered. You can customise this page to give your users a better experience. For example, you may want to add a link back to your homepage, or to your top collections. Make it easy for your users to get back onto your site and looking at your products. To edit the 404 page go to Menu > Customise > Store Pages and click on the Page not found entry.
